Before the private intake

So that the intake can be conducted carefully and with substance, we ask parents to answer the questions below briefly and concretely.

1. Current situation

  • Which year and which level is your child in?
  • Has your child been tested for cognitive ability before (for example IQ)? If so, what were the results?
  • How would you describe the current situation at school?
  • What is going well at the moment, and where do the greatest challenges lie?

2. Potential & motivation

  • Where do you see your child's greatest potential?
  • Is that potential currently coming through sufficiently? Why, or why not?
  • What gives your child energy?
  • How would you describe their current motivation for school and development?

3. Performance & execution

  • Where does performance lag behind potential?
  • Which patterns do you recognise in focus, discipline, planning or behaviour?

4. System & environment

  • Which factors influence development and performance positively or negatively? (motivation, focus, screen use, behaviour, structure, rhythm, environment)
  • How is the collaboration between parents, school and student working?

5. Guidance & expectations

  • What guidance has been tried before, and what worked or fell short?
  • What appeals to you about School Excellence?
  • What would be a valuable development or outcome 6–12 months from now?
